The Makers Swap
For makers & makers in the making! You're invited to join us for a casual, community-style swap for creatives, growers, farmers, makers, hand-assemblers, and curious beginners alike.
No business registration required.
No vendor setup required.
No hauling tables, displays, or market stress.
Just come as you are, swap thoughtfully, socialize a little, and leave with full hands.
THE GUIDELINES:
1. Apply (below) with what you plan to bring. We welcome:
- Handmade goods
- Hand-assembled goods
- Homegrown/farmed products
- Small batch baked, crafted, or created goods
- "Testing" a new idea or product? You're welcome here too!
- NO store-bought, used, vintage, thrifted, or pre-worn items.
2. Bring a minimum of 10 items. We are opening 20 total spots, but you are not required to swap with all 20 attendees. Please plan to:
- Bring at least 10 identical or similar items. You're more than welcome to bring more. (Ex: 10 pairs of earrings but doesn't need to be all the same exact style)
- Bring only the product/item you applied with.
- Make a minimum of 10 swaps. Swap more if you'd like!
- Label or tag your items with a value
- We ask that swaps stay within an ~$5 variance of one another.
- NOTE: If bringing edible, skincare, candle, body, or ingredient-based products, please include basic ingredient/allergen information. If your item is edible and NOT shelf stable, please bring only items that have been made within the last 24-36 hours (AKA: fresh items only please).
4. Keep it casual. This is intentionally NOT a traditional market setup. You do not need to bring tables, displays, tablecloths, booth setups, etc. Bring your items ready to browse, share, and swap.
5. Kindness + community first. This is a collaborative event. Respectful swaps, inclusive conversation, and good creative energy are expected.
Your $15 entry INCLUDES:
The $15 participation fee helps to cover the pavilion rental, light sips, and includes a reusable tote bag. We'll have a decorate-your-own tote bag station with extra supplies so we can socialize, sip, and create a little after swapping. We invite you to slow down with us as we want this to feel community based and heartfelt, not transactional.
THE VIBE:
Join us for an evening of creative energy, good conversation, business chats without pressure, supporting fellow makers, trying something new, and a slower, more intentional evening with people who get it. Before the event, we'll share a participant + item list so you'll have an idea of who's coming and what types of products will be available.
DATE: Thursday, July 16th 2026
TIME: 6:00PM arrival - no need to come early to "set up." It's casual! We'll start swapping around 6:15 once everyone has had a moment to get settled.
